Why this application matters

Grid connection

Existing connection infrastructure includes an electrical substation and about 14 km of 20 kV underground electricity line across townlands in Counties Wicklow and Carlow.

Related wind farm

Cronelea Upper Wind Farm, in Cronelea and Ballymarroge, is a separate three-turbine wind farm whose continued operation for a further 15 years was conditionally permitted.
