About OpenList

OpenList helps people understand planning, property and development in Ireland.

Search planning applications across Ireland, explore proposed and changing development, and use sold-price data to understand the surrounding property context.

You can use OpenList to:

  • Search planning applications and explore local development activity
  • Research public sold-price data and local market activity
  • Move between planning applications and sold-price context to understand a property or area

Planning information is based on publicly available Irish local-authority sources. Sold-price information is based on public Irish Residential Property Price Register data.

OpenList is a property research service focused on planning activity, sold-price data and local context. We are not an estate agent, auctioneer, valuer, broker or legal adviser.

The aim is simple: make public planning and property information easier to find, understand and connect without overstating what the source data proves.

With OpenList you can

  • search planning applications
  • research sold prices
  • connect planning and local property context

Platform role

OpenList helps people research planning activity and public property data in Ireland.

OpenList is not an estate agent, auctioneer, valuer, broker or legal adviser.

How the data works

Public sources, made easier to search and compare

Planning applications

Planning records come from public Irish local-authority sources. OpenList connects those records, normalises status information where possible and presents source-backed lifecycle events and local property context.

Planning freshness is scoped to the council when you are viewing a council or application page. The date shown is the latest registration date currently present in that OpenList scope. Always check the linked council record before relying on an application for a decision.

Sold prices

Sold-price records come from Ireland's public Residential Property Price Register. OpenList standardises the records for search, local pages and market comparisons without changing the published sale price or sale date.

The freshness indicator shows the latest sale date currently present in OpenList. It is a useful coverage signal, but the Property Price Register remains the authoritative source.

Important

Planning information is based on publicly available sources and is provided for information purposes only. Sold-price information is based on public Irish Residential Property Price Register data. Users should independently verify relevant property information before making decisions.
