Demolition of 2 no existing masonry piers adjoined to a vehicular entrance at junction of Portland Road and South Place and the subsequent construction of two masonry gate piers to match existing in style and height, new piers to be set back within the existing boundary, the restoration and replacement (as required) of the existing policy fence with new hedge planting and 1.5m high security fence inside existing policy fencing to Portland Road boundary and South Place boundary and the removal of a portion of the existing policy fence on the Portland Road boundary and subsequent construction ofa pedestrian entrance with adjoining masonry gate piers to match vehicular entrance gate piers in style and proportion and associated works to roadside boundary, construction of a mini pollar inside the boundary to house a gas meter and ESB meter. This application also seeks modifications to a previously planning permission granted under 16/1403. The modifications include the addition of solar panels on two west facing roof slopes and the addition of a window at ground floor level on the side (west) elevation. The planning application is subsequent to a previously approved application of a remodel and extension of existing house under planning file reference 16/1403
