Permission for the construction and operation of an asphalt plant within the lands which have been permitted for extraction and associated works under WCC Planning Reference: 20023756 (ABP Reference PL26.202259) and amended under 20170215 (ABP Reference: PL26.248648) and will be located in the townland of Brownswood, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. The application area will cover circa ('ca.') 2.9 hectares ('ha') and is located within the existing Brownswood Quarry Complex, which covers an area of ca.95ha. The proposed development will include; 1 no. asphalt plant and associated infrastructure, including storage bays; 1 no. electrical substation (13 metres ('m') x 6 m gross floor area); 1 no. standby generator; 1 no. storage shed (75 m x 20 m gross floor area); 1 no. gas storage unit and compound (19 m x 10 m gross floor area); provision of paving/hardstanding around the asphalt plant; retaining wall; and, provision of closed-loop drainage infrastructure (including purposefully sized attenuation tank which will provide storage capacity for 500 cubic metres of water). A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the application
