Permission for development at the Saunderscourt House Gate Lodge, a protected structure. The development will consist of i) the general refurbishment of the protected Gate Lodge structure to convert the lodges to 2 no. self-catering accommodation units, ii) the repair and restoration of the original red-brick facade to both units; repair or replacement of sash windows, iii) new modern external doors; repair of current plaster or introduction of new breathable plaster as required, iv) 4 no. modern windows to new previously infilled openings, v) new soakaways from downpipes, vi) new floor build up to basement floor units and courtyard to prevent water ingress, vii) a new internal staircase to each unit, viii) new roof to enclose external courtyard space and roof lights, ix) repair and re-slating of existing roof as required, x) application of tanking to internal walls at lower level, xi) repair and restoration of the triumphal arch, xii) installation of a new wastewater treatment system, xiii) addition of 4 no. parking spaces, xiv) extension of the earthen bank to the south of the site and xv) associated site works
