Permission for the development of an Integrated Constructed Wetland for secondary and tertiary treatment of wastewaters generated at Wells House. The proposed development involves carrying out works within the curtilage of a Protected Structure (Ref. No. WCC0723). The existing wastewater infrastructure will be retained, with additional pipework to be laid connecting existing septic tanks from the main house, cafe, restaurant, outdoor toilet facillities, craft courtyard and associated buildings to the wetland for treatment. The proposed Integrated Constructed Wetland will discharge into the Ballyrea Stream within the Wells House ownership boundary.
