- The demolition of existing dwelling and removal of vegetation to construct a new purpose RNLI Lifeboat Station/Inland Waterways Association of Ireland facility at Dunrovin, Coosan Point, Creaghduff, Co Westmeath. The facility will include a single storey boathouse for the lifeboat. 2 supporting facilities block accommodation changing crew room workshop and office including single storey facility for the IWAI, with a total GFA of 368sq.m. The works will include the installation of holding tanks for foul sewerage with proposed vehicle and pedestrian access of the public car park. The application site is located within the Lough Ree (Special Protection Areas)designated under the birds directive (2209) 147/EC and SCA (special areas of conservation) designated under the habitats directive (2009/43/EEC) . A Natura Impact Statement has been prepared in respect of this planning application designated.
