The development will consist of a 10-year permission for the construction of an energy storage facility (i.e. a co-located energy storage development as per the Renewable Energy Directive III) within a total site area of approximately 4.16 hA, to include one IPP modular control building on concrete plinths with a maximum height of 4.63m and associated electrical compound, 180 containerised battery storage modules on concrete support structures with a maximum height of 4.2m, 30 electrical transformer / inverter stations on concrete supports, associated electrical ducting / cabling, security fencing and CCTV security monitoring system, storage containers, lightning protection poles and ancillary equipment. The development will also include the demolition of an existing unfinished dwelling structure. This development is covered by the provision of the Renewable Energy Directive III(Directive (EU) 2023/2413 )
