Proposal description

The construction of an additional processing building for the pre-treatment of waste as required under the EU Landfill Directive (1999/31/EC). The proposed building will have a floor area of 4218 sq.m. with a 13.6m ridge height and an 11.9m eaves height. The proposed building will operate under negative air pressure and will be fully enclosed so as to treat all the collected air which will then be released through a 14.83 meter high stack. An Environmental Impact Statement will be submitted with this application. The proposed development includes an associated air filtration system, an ESB sub-station together with all associated site works.
