Proposal description

We, Collins Lane Housing Development Limited intend to apply for permission for development on lands at Collins Lane, Tullamore, Co. Offaly. It is proposed to modify the planning grant at Collins Lane (ref. 26/60013) as follows: To comply with Building Regulations we propose to introduce a second staircase core to serve the 1st-floor apartments. Other minor changes we propose, the site position (now realigned to Estate Road 1), revised building footprint GIA update: from 1045.5 m² to 1056.9m2 , internal layout area adjustments to both the crèche unit and the apartments and updated external elevations. A minor reduction in the outdoor play area from 420 sqm to 401 sqm although still under the required guidelines. The number of residential apartments, crèche child capacity, and required car/cycle parking spaces remain completely unchanged from the original application. The Planning application may be inspected, or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, at the offices of the planning authority during its public opening hours. A submission or observation in relation to the application may be made in writing to the planning authority on payment of the prescribed fee, €20, within the period of 5 weeks beginning on the date of receipt by the authority of the application, and such submissions or observations will be considered by the planning authority in making a decision on the application. The planning authority may grant permission subject to or without conditions, or may refuse to grant permission.
