The construction of extensions to the existing 30 bed hotel "The Lodge at Castle Leslie Estate", which comprises of the Historic Hunting Lodge/Greystone House (a protected structure, no 41400721), its stables and later extensions (both not protected). The development is to include an 18-bedroom extension, located to the South West of the hotel. Accommodation is split over two floors, with bedrooms, ancillary storage, plant rooms and escape stair. In conjunction, internal alterations, and the repositioning of openings to 2 no. adjoining bedrooms are also proposed. This proposal does not include any works to the protected structure. A change of use is sought to an area of the lower ground floor hotel into staff offices. The development also contains proposals for two single conservatories to the Historic Hunting Lodge/Greystone House (a protected structure, no 41400721), which include the lowering of two existing windows of the protected structure, to form doorways. Also included is associated site works and landscaping to the perimeter of the proposed extensions, which includes upgrade works to an existing opening on the estate boundary wall (protected structure no. 41400727). Additional car parking is proposed to the rear of the Main Street Lodge/Garden and Gate Lodge (protected structure no 41400722), located at the estate entrance from Glaslough village.
