Proposal description

:This development pertains to 3no. previous grants of permission; Planning Reference 04/1089, 06/534 and 07/2315. Permission is being sought for i) the demolition of 4no. dwellings, No's 11, 18 and 19 the Willows and No. 47 the Elms and the demolition of a partially constructed apartment block, (12no. units, 13-24 the Oaks), ii) the construction of roads, footpaths and services to all uncompleted parts of the development, iii) alterations to the layout of existing roads and footpaths, iv) the carrying out of remedial works to existing retaining walls, v) alterations to the size and location of public open space to include the construction of a children's playground, playground equipment, and public amenity space to the west of the site incorporating pedestrian access to Bath Avenue and the construction of public amenity space to the south east of the development also incorporating pedestrian steps accessing Bath Avenue and including the stone cladding of existing 60m long structural precast concrete wall along Bath Avenue, vi) implementation of a revised landscaping proposal, vii) proposed new retaining structures, viii) amendments to the boundary line and treatment to the front of the site to incorporate additional public open space, ix) installation of attenuation tanks and all associated connections, x) omission of the crèche/childcare facility [previously approved application 04/1089], xi) omission of the bring bank centre facility [condition no.14, Planning Ref 04/1089], xii) alterations to uncompleted units, house Type F, (No's 6-10 the Willows, 12-17 the Willows, 25-29 the Elms and 52-55 the Elms), xiii) confirmation of street names, house numbering and associated signage, and xiv) all site works associated with the above. Retention permission is being sought for alterations to the site layout and location of dwellings on site and one apartment block, completed roads, footpaths and public open space and revisions to the site boundary line.
