Proposal description

The proposed development is approximately 2.5km in length, between the R181 Shercock Road Junction to and including the N53 Tullyvin Roundabout on the Castleblayney Bypass, N2, National Primary Route. The proposed development consists of changing the existign 2 + 1 road layout by swapping the sections of two lane carriageway to one lane and one lane sections of carriageway to two lane, modifications to existing road layout to facilitate access from the Castleblayney Bypass into the Killycard Industrial Estate, modifications to the spitter islands on the N53 Tullyvin Roundabout. Other works include earthworks, drainage, kerbing, pavemant over lay, barrier replacement, signage and lining, visibility improvements, landscaping and ancillary works.
