This building is on the current Record of Protected Structures in the Monaghan County Council area appendix 5 - Ref.41400311 Regional Status - Detached five bay two storey country house known as "Fort Singleton". The development will consist of the retention, preservation and completion of the existing five bay two storey house by the internal restoration complete with new heating, plumbing, finishes and furnishings, completion of the roof structure and rainwater goods, external render with quoins, the main entrance door and reconstruct the rear external single storey extension to the 1908 recorded foot print, recommendations of the Condition Survey and associated site works. Significant further information was furnished to the planning authority on 16th June 2014 and is available for inspection or purchase.
