The new outfall will incorporate a new pipe and three diffuser heads for the purposes of the discharge to the river. The pipe will be anchored at river bed level to a new steel access platform structure 7m x 2m supported on piles into the river bed. The access platform will be positioned at approximately 1.5m above the river level. A new concrete head wall along the river edge will be constructed at the new outfall.
