Proposal description

1. Construct a metal child safety fence, 1.2 metres high, along the front southern boundary, adjacent the existing river. 2. Construct metal security fencing 2.4 metres high, to the western side and rear boundaries. 3. Plant the existing river bank along the side eastern boundary with wild flowers as a habitat for insects, flora and fauna. 4. Alterations to the existing vehicular entrance including reconstructing the front stone entrance piers with stone cappings, installing metal gates, storm drainage and other ancillary site works. The proposed development is within the curtilage of a protected structure of regional importance under Appendix CK 1 - Carrickmacross Town Council Record of Protected Structure of the Monaghan County Council Development Plan 2007 to 2013.
