a Large-Scale Residential Development - Permission for a Large-Scale Residential Development (LRD) on this site of c. 4.95 ha (gross) at lands known as the ‘Frontlands’, located to the south-west of Kells Town Centre, to the west of Bective Road, and also including the junction of Bective Street and Bective Road, Kells, Co. Meath. The main development site is bounded to the southeast by Westfield residential estate, to the southwest by Balrath Wood estate, and to the west and north by greenfield lands. Housing units will range from 2 to 2 ½ storeys in height and include a mix of semi-detached and terraced dwellings. The crèche will be a single-storey stand-alone building (c. 151 sq.m), with associated open space, car parking and a dedicated set-down area. All residential units will be provided with private amenity space in the form of balconies or gardens. The development will also include public open spaces including a public park located to the north of the site.
