Mountain Dew Property Company Ltd. intends to apply for a 10-year planning permission for development at Derryool, Rocklands, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, comprising: The development will consist of the re-contouring of agricultural land by the use of imported by-product of soil and stone over an area of 0.79 hectares on an overall site area of 1.05 hectares for the benefit of agricultural land. The deposition area will accommodate 25,200 tonnes of soil and stone. Permission is sought for access, fencing and all associated site development works and services and any mitigation measures such as silt fencing to protect watercourses. Permission is also sought for the retention of an existing access road and pre-existing deposits of topsoil and stone that were claimed from these lands.
