A temporary planning permission for 1 year is sought for the provision of temporary luxury-under-canvas accommodation to serve the 2027 Ryder Cup, comprising: (i) 180 no. guest accommodation tents that will provide for 360 no. people; (ii) 30 no. staff accommodation tents that will provide for 90 no. people; (iii) 20 no. catering and guest services tents; (iv) 6 no. catering vehicles; (v) 10 no. WC/shower units; (vi) pedestrian access via Rathkeale Road; (vii) vehicular access via the existing entrance via the R519; (viii) generators, water tanks, and wastewater tanks; (ix) a car parking area; (x) a staff campervan area; (xi) and all ancillary works necessary to carry out the development.
