Amendments to the development permitted under Limerick City and County Council Planning Application Reference 16/241. The proposed amendments will comprise: the subdivision of Unit 9-10 to create 2 no. standalone retail units; change of use of Unit 8 (35 sq.m) from retail service to retail and subdivision and change of use of part of Unit 6-8a (61 sq.m) from café to retail and the amalgamation of these spaces with Unit 9 to create a single retail unit measuring approx. 209sq.m; the amalgamation of Unit 10 and Unit 36 and the construction of a storage/ancillary mezzanine level within Unit 10 measuring approx. 118 sq.m of space to create a single retail unit measuring approx. 408 sq.m; the relocation of existing fire escape door at Unit 9; installation of a new fire escape door at Unit 10; and; all ancillary works. The proposed development will result in café Unit 6-8a (280 sq.m), retail Unit 9 (209 sq.m), retail Unit 10 (408 sq.m) increasing the gross retail floorspace by approx. 214 sq.m representing a net increase in floorspace by approx. 118 sq.m.
