Proposal description

For development. The development consists of the retention, for a period of 5 years from the date of grant of permission, of a surface car park comprising 45 no. car parking spaces (including 2 no. disabled spaces); a turning area; drainage, lighting, flagpoles, bollards, pay and display machine; and all associated site development works, on a site of approximately 0.15 ha forming part of the MacDonagh Junction lands. The proposed use of the site during the period of retention is as a surface car park. The surface car park was previously permitted under Kilkenny Borough Council Reg. Ref. 08/56 and Kilkenny County Council Reg. Refs. 11990058 and 18762. The site includes a limestone wall forming part of a Protected Structure, MacDonagh Railway Station (RPS Ref. D86)
