For change of use and alterations and additions to the existing former bank building (including addition of a setback storey/third storey) to provide a new mixed-use retail and commercial development including a café and ancillary uses. Retail and commercial uses are proposed to be provided on the ground floor, first floor and second floor, with a café proposed on the third floor. The proposed development comprises demolition works including removal of internal walls and parts of the façade across all floors, removal of the stair to the?northern?entrance and extension at the north-eastern corner of the building, removal of the stair to the southern entrance, removal of stairs and entrance on the eastern side of the building and other external structures at ground level, and removal of the roof. The development also includes?construction works including an extension to the eastern side of the building to accommodate a lift, new stair core,?restrooms, storage, services & external plantroom; extension to the southern side of the building at first and second floor comprising a cantilever bay?window; addition of a new, set-back third floor with viewing terraces and a flat roof with PV panels; a new facade with glazing at ground and third floor; new steps, handrail and planter to the south of the building?and all associated works.
