Proposal description

For works relating to the Turbine Delivery Route for Farranrory Wind Farm. The proposed development will consist of: • Construction of a Blade transfer area, located off the N76, in the townlands of Browns Town, and Rathaleek includes hardstanding areas for cranes, welfare facilities and parking for staff, laydown area for turbine blades, temporary removable security barrier and all associated drainage and ancillary works. • Temporary widening of a section of the R691 in the townland of Ballyclovan at the junction of the R695 comprising construction of a stoned area to accommodate abnormal load deliveries. Advisory Note : There are also works required in County Tipperary, and a separate amendment planning application will be made for these to Tipperary County Council. The planning application will be accompanied by an Natura Impact Statement.
