The development will consist of refurbishment works to the existing Guest House, and site at Brandondale House, a protected structure. The works include the demolition of 14m2 lean-to addition at the north of the house and the demolition and replacement of existing stone steps linking the house to the existing courtyard. The development includes a new 32m2 glazed veranda at the south and a new entrance terrace to the rear at upper ground floor level with external storage at lower ground floor level totalling 34m2 within the courtyard. The development also includes site works to refurbish existing stone walls, and new stone terraced garden walls at the east. The application also includes a change of use for the conversion of an existing shed / stables building to a studio space at upper ground floor level, with storage retained below at lower ground floor level. This includes raising the existing roof ridge level by 950mm.
