Proposal description

Will consist of upgrades to the existing overbridge that will be within the curtilage of 2 no. Protected Structures (RPS Reference Nos.: B11-125 and B11-127). The works will include the removal of the existing staircases and the provision of new staircases on both platforms, the provision of a lift shaft on Platform 1 adjacent to the new staircase, relocation of existing passenger shelter on Platform 2, temporary use of the car park for a construction compound to be reinstated following construction, and all ancillary works to facilitate the Proposed Development. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared and will be submitted to the planning authority with the application.
