Amendments to the previously approved planning permission reference 17/1209, for the construction of a new three storey standalone volunteer’s accommodation lodge. The amendments include: The relocation of the south access stairs to the north and the adjustment of the lift location. The widening of the west fire escape stairs. Changes to elevations, mix of materials and adjustment of eaves detail. The modification of the roof profile. The site area of the development is 3542sqm and gross floor area is 982.94sqm to accommodate 82-88 bed spaces. The building height is 13.22 metres above FFL to the ridge height. The accommodation includes 22 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms on all three floors, lounge and meeting areas at ground floor level and all related ancillary services and site works, all on an estate of approximately 210 hectares. The proposed development is in the curtilage of Barretstown House, RPS B24-27, and the attached Barretstown Castle, National Monument KD024-029
