Proposal description

To restore and recover existing worked gravel pits (approximately 3.2ha) to be consistent with original land contour levels. The material used to restore the existing depressions will be inert materials (such as sands, glass, soils, clays, marls, stone, blocks, inert construction demolition waste). Permission is required for a wheelwash area, site office portacabin and temporary portable toilet facilities. The development will be worked in a phased manner over a period of 5 years, with a proposed annual volume imported into the site of 19500 tonnes approximately, which equates to an overall intake of 97000 tonnes approximately, which will be progressively restored to agricultural use. The proposed activity will require a waste licence from the EPA
