Development in two parts: Part 1: Planning permission for internal alterations, improvements and new works to upgrade the existing fire resistances and fire ratings of various elements of structure and fittings throughout the property, including first floor constructions, fire doors, internal windows, new partitions together with wall and ceiling surfaces. Installation of fire rated partitions and fire doors to create protected escape routes from ground and first floor area. Part 2: Retention permission for various internal alterations and improvements together with minor extension and alteration works carried out in the past, including the removal of an existing open covered walkway and porch which was replaced with an enclosed access corridor and glazed porch area to the northeast elevation; replacement of existing lean-to structure on the south-west elevation with a single storey lean-to structure to provide a laundry; replacement of existing external fire escape stairs on the south-west elevation with new masonry framed escape stairs and associated entrance lobby and WC; creation of a hipped roof dormer with window to create new first floor bedroom space to south-west elevation complete with internal access staircase and partition; two new external door openings, two new window openings and one enlarged existing window opening formed at ground floor level on the southwest elevation; new partition and door to sub divide existing first floor bedroom in the front section of the property.
