Proposal description

Continuance of use of the quarry having a total site area of 23.07 hectares. The phased remediation works to the quarry site, comprising of levelling of existing material already on site and the importation of 50,000 tonnes per annum of inert subsoil and top soil to return the entire site to agricultural use. Erection of aggregate and crushing plant, washing plant, settlement lagoons, pre-fabricated office, canteen, toilet facilities, the installation of a septic tank, percolation area, wheelwash, weighbridge and all associated site works. This application is accompanied by an Environmental Impact Statement and an Natura Impact Statement.
