Proposal description

The development will consist of minor amendment of the site boundary and area from that previously approved under Planning Register Ref. 14/243 to that as per the legal conveyance map of May 2014 (site area increase from 0.4140 hectares to 0.4211 hectares) and the consequent repositioning of the house and associated site works by 4.76m to the south and 0.25m higher on the slope of the site, in order to maintain original relationship of house to site boundary & contours. Also proposed is the addition of a bathroom at attic level and associated drainage, and the repositioning of the 4 no. previously approved roof-lights over the hall lightwell; moving 2 no. roof-lights 900mm to the north & 2 no. 900mm south to allow for maintenance and indirect daylighting. Carton House, associated outhouses, stables, gardens and yards are protected structures. No works are proposed which directly affect these structures
