For works to and within the curtilage of a Protected Structure (Killarney Town Development Plan 2009-2015, Ref:P11) to comprise change of use of former residence and stores to a Visitor Center for the Killarney National Park. Conservation/repairs to existing stores and to 20th century ground floor living rooms, corridor and staircase (former 18th century coach house and stables). Provision of two lifts and enclosed staircases from ground to first floor level. Provision of new single storey extension providing visitor facilities to include a new temporary exhibition area, an Audio visual/Multipurpose room and toilet facilities. Resurfacing of area within courtyard and provision of new ramped access pathway to new forecourt area. Provision of new stone paving and new paths and associated drainage and services as necessary
