Ullmhaíodh Ráiteas Tionchair Natura (NIS) i ndáil leis an bhforbairt atá beartaithe (10 year) for amendments to the permitted Ardderroo Synchronous Condenser (Galway County Council Reference No. 23/60641, 24/61485 and 25/60575) comprising an increased temporary construction compound footprint, staff facilities with underground wastewater holding tank, revised underground cabling connection to the 110kV electrical compound, a revised footprint of the 110kV electrical compound, revised perimeter fencing, 1 no. additional control building with welfare facilities and an underground wastewater holding tank, associated electrical plant and apparatus and a revised 110kV underground cabling connection to the existing Knockranny substation. Amendments to the Knockranny Wind Farm grid connection (permitted under An Coimisiún Pleanála Reference No. PL07.318723), comprising revised underground electrical (33kV) and communications cabling route to connect to the new 110kV electrical compound (including associated cable service track), and the omission of the extension to the Ardderroo Substation. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development
