Retention of a house extension and refurbishment under construction as permitted Galway County Council reg ref 21/2242. The development subject to retention permission consists of: modifications to the existing cottage comprising the removal, rebuilding and minor repositioning of selected external walls; minor repositioning of the permitted cottage extensions to accommodate to repositoning of external cottage walls; amended internal layout and minor elevational changes including the insertion of a full-height window (matching the width of the previously permitted window) the replacement of a permitted window with a pantry door of the same width, and an increase in the overall cottage height. The amendments for which permission is sought consist of the facing of the replacement external blockwork walls to the cottage with the original stone; and all associated site works above and below ground
