Permission for development which consists of: Permission is sought by Sona Padel Limited at the Racecourse Business Park, Ballybrit, Galway City. The proposed development will consist of the following; 1. Repurposing of an unused open space area to provide for an indoor recreation use in the form of a Padel Court Facility. 2. Construction of a covered Padel Court Structure (c. 10m in height) to accommodate 5 no. Padel Courts, 3. Construction of a stand-alone modular structure (c.3.03m in height) to accommodate an office/reception and changing rooms/toilet, with covered porch/outdoor seating area and false façade to front. 4. Provision of a one-way vehicular access and egress, together with the provision of grouped parking to include EV spaces and an accessible parking space, 5. Provision of roadside footpath together with and uncontrolled pedestrian crossing, 6. Provision for on-site surface water drainage attenuation arrangements and connection to existing storm sewer, 7. Connection to public mains and public sewer network, 8. Provision of public lighting, revised boundary treatments, signage, a bin store and bicycle parking, 9. Provision of hard and soft landscaping, together with all associated site works and services
