Permission for development which consists of: energy upgrade works to the existing southern block of the original 1972 building comprising, building fabric upgrade to include external walls, roof, windows and doors, partial mechanical and electrical services upgrade to include medium temperature air source heat pump, MVHR to high use classrooms and new LED lighting and lighting controls. The upgrade works will include a new standalone plantroom and heat pump compound and all associated site works. The floor area of the energy upgrade works is 4,425m2 over two floors.
