Permission for development which consists of: Permission is sought by Bus Éireann at their existing Bus Depot, Galway Harbour Enterprise Park, New Docks, The Docks, Galway City (Eircode H91A304). The development will consist of the construction, installation and commissioning of: • 35 no. Electric Vehicle (EV) charge stations (i.e. 70 no. charge ports) to serve a new electrical fleet of buses, • A single storey switch room extension to the maintenance garage building (c. 13.47sqm gross floor area), • 1 no. free standing single storey modular substation unit (c. 35.71sqm gross floor area), • 31 no. 6m high additional lighting columns within the existing bus parking area, • Minor revisions to layout to include for relocation of existing bike shelter and security hut, together with associated installation of cabling/charging equipment and associated site works and services. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) will be submitted to the planning authority with this application
