Proposal description

Retention Permission is sought for: (i) Erection of 18 no. polytunnels (total area= 5,830sq.m); (ii) Change of use of 2 no. agricultural buildings to provide farm shop and cafe; and, (iii) Provision of ancillary food preparation unit contained within 1 no. container unit (14 sq.m). Permission is sought for: (i) Demolition of the existing unauthorised roofed area between the farm shop and café and construction of an extension to the farm shop (30sq.m)within this area; (ii) Construction of a single-storey timber structure (open-air) which will provide a covered entrance to the café and farm shop; (iii) Provision of demarcated vehicular parking area (7no.spaces); (iv) Provision of hedging to separate the farm shop and the existing residential dwelling; (v) Reopening and dedicated use of the northern vehicular entrance via Rowans Big laneway to provide public access to the farm shop, café and wider farm; (vi) Dedicated use of the existing southern vehicular entrance via Rowans Big laneway to provide private access to the residential dwelling only; (vii) all ancillary associated siteworks including hard and soft landscaping, boundary treatments, lighting, provision of planter boxes and external toilets, necessary to facilitate the development.
