Proposal description

Permission is sought for development which will consist of a two storey extension (38m2) in a hipped and pitched roof construction to the south west rear elevation of the existing house with first floor stepped back with a hipped end roof. Full height glazing to the south west elevation with level access to patio on two sides, out to garden terrace edge. There is also a single storey porch extension (4m2) to the north east front elevation with a hipped roof construction to match the existing roof. The proposed work involves a ground floor open plan sunroom and kitchen dining area with stove and metal flue chimney, atrium window to roof, utility room, accessible wc and storage, separate porch. Also extended first floor master bedroom with ensuite with alterations to the layout of the existing house. There are also three new side windows facing south east on the existing house. Both bathrooms will have opaque glass and other window is at high level. There is a projecting flat roof over the new side door from the utility room. Also included are alterations to the existing site drainage and associated siteworks including levelling and terracing of rear garden. An additional car-parking space is proposed to the front garden.
