7. The Developer shall comply with the following conservation requirements of the Planning Authority: f) Prior to the commencement of the development, the applicant shall submit the following information for the written approval of the planning authority: i. Coloured 1:20 front and rear (garden) elevation of 1no. (typical) residential unit to demonstrate the materiality and detailing of the brick walls, balconies, external staircases, parapet and other key details. A light colour brick shall be used to articulate the external walls on the first and second floor levels, above a contrasting brick ‘base’ at ground floor level, to add visual interest and protect and enhance the special architectural character and setting of the Protected Structures. ii. Revised drawings showing the proportions of the largest openings on the west elevation at first floor level altered to reflect a more harmonious relationship with the proportions of the large windows at ground floor level.
