The development will consist of (i) the demolition of the existing garden shed and the previous extension, the removal of the existing chimney to the rear of the property, and the construction of a new single-storey rear extension to the existing house, together with all associated site and landscaping works; (ii) an attic conversion to provide a habitable room and an en-suite bathroom at second-floor level within the terraced house. The works will include the construction of a dormer window to the north-facing roof slope, set back from each side boundary to provide separation from the adjoining properties; (iii) the installation of three high-level rooflights to the existing rear roof slope, together with two solar panel arrays, one on the front roof slope and one on the rear roof slope; and (iv) renovation works and minor internal alterations to the existing dwelling.
