I, Ruth Egan, seek planning permission for the part refurbishment, ground floor extension to the front, side and rear to an end of terrace house at number 15 Sundrive Park, Kimmage, Dublin 12. The proposed development will consist of the construction of a partial width flat and mono-pitched single storey ground floor extension to the rear and mono-pitched single storey ground floor extension to the side and front of 56 m2 (total existing and proposed house area is 140 m2). The proposed development will also consist of general remedial work to the ground floor layout to include removal of section of rear wall to allow for opening up of the existing rear dining space to the new extension, a new proposed downstairs wc and utility room in the existing rear return at ground floor, new bathroom and bedroom in the proposed side extension. The rear section of the extension will house an open plan living, kitchen and dining space. The proposed development will also provide for the combination of both bathrooms into one large family bathroom at first floor in the rear return, new glazing to existing house, canopy to rear and all associated site, drainage and landscaping works.
