The development will consist of change of use from office to residential use to provide 29 no. apartments (7 no. 1-bed, 16 no. 2-bed and 6 no. 3-bed units), accommodated on the 1st to 6th floors of existing vacant space over an existing vacant ground floor retail unit in a mixed-use building known as Meridian Court. Associated bicycle parking, waste storage and plant rooms will be provided in an existing single storey shared basement. The development includes refurbishment to the exiting shared central courtyard space. All apartment units to have new private balconies or terraces, locate on south, east and west building elevations. The development will include modifications to exiting facades with existing openings resized, partial recladding, additional balconies added and an overall reduction of window area.
