Proposal description

The proposed development will consist of the construction of a hardstand area for the delivery and temporary storage of freight containers and parking of Heavy Goods Vehicles (Total GFA of hardstand works c.32.226m² ), the use of a former car parking area to provide 20 no. staff car parking spaces and the installation of temporary portacabin buildings comprising 1no. security /office hut (c.28m²), 1no. canteen (c.28m²), 1no. toilet block (c.10 m²) and 1no. shower block (c.10 m²) and 2 no. two security gate buildings (26 m²). The development will be accessed via two existing entrances from the Jamestown Road. The northern access is proposed to be entry only while the southern access is proposed to have an entry and exit arrangement.
