Proposal description

We, Kilknockan Partnership, wish to apply for planning permission for proposed works at site located at N20 Road, Kilknockan and Lackanalooha (Townlands), Mallow, Co. Cork. Works will include the construction of a new National Car Testing Centre (NCT) inclusive of new 2-storey testing building, associated road, parking areas and bicycle shelter; & construction of new EV-Car Charging parking area, inclusive of new ancillary single-storey ESB substation building. The proposal will also comprise of all associated ancillary site development works including internal pedestrian access, internal access road, footpaths, parking areas, new signage on site, public lighting, landscaping work, boundary treatments, and drainage works. Improvement works are proposed to the existing site entrance onto the N20 Road, including provision of a right-hand turning lane on the N20 Road to facilitate access to the site. A Natura Impact Statement will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the Application. The Natura Impact Statement will be available for inspection or purchase not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during the office house at the offices of the Planning Authority.
