The demolition of one no. derelict two storey dwelling (132msq) and one no. derelict single storey agricultural storage building (225msq), the construction of 3 No. new School buildings and the construction of a main link road with a roundabout from Castlelake Housing Estate to Station Road and an additional link from the roundabout to Station Road all on a site C. 10.87 Hectares. The proposed Development includes: School A comprises 1 No. 3 Storey, 24 classrooms with 2 Class SNU, Primary school building (Roll No: RN18000W) with physical education hall, support teaching spaces and ancillary accommodation, with a total floor area of 5,050sq.m. The site works to the school grounds will consist of the provision of no. 72 cycle spaces, bin store/external store, ball courts, playing field, secure special play area, landscaping and new entrance gates, boundary treatment and all other associated site development works. The works to the remainder of the school grounds consist of the provision of 60 No. car parking spaces, 3 No. disabled access car parking spaces, drop-off and pick-up facilities and playing field. School B comprises 1 No. 2 Storey, 24 Classroom with 2 Class SNU, Primary school building (Roll No: RN20442U) with physical education hall, support teaching spaces and ancillary accommodation, with a total floor area of 4,700sq.m. The site works to the school grounds will consist of the provision of no. 72 cycle spaces, bin store/external store, ball courts, secure special play area, landscaping and new entrance gates, boundary treatment and all other associated site development works. The works to the remainder of the school grounds will consist of the provision of 60 No. car parking spaces, 3 No. disabled access car parking spaces, 1 No. 18m sq. ESB Substation and drop-off and pick-up facilities. School C comprises 1 No. 3 storey , 1000 pupil, Post Primary school building (Roll No: RN76333G), with physical education hall, 3 classroom SNU, support teaching spaces, external material storage room for wood and metal work studies with associated covered work area and ancillary accommodation, with a total floor area of 12,750 sq.m. The site works to the school grounds will consist of the provision of 250 no. cycle spaces, bin store/external store, ball courts, secure special play area, landscaping and new entrance gates, boundary treatment and all other associated site development works. The works to the remainder of the school grounds consist of the provision of 95 No. car parking spaces, 5 No. disabled access car parking spaces, drop-off and pick-up facilities, Inline channel and onsite attenuation storage measures will be incorporated into the development to manage flood risk.
