The development will consist of (1) The removal of a 50 metre segment from the centre of Clondulane Weir, in order to improve fish passage at the weir, and (2) The construction of bank protection measures downstream of the weir at the townlands, of Clondulane North, Ballynaparka South, Ballyderown, and Careysville in Clondulane, Co. Cork. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) and an Ecological Impact Assessment (ECIA) will be submitted with this planning application. The development lies within the curtilage of a protected structure, namely Glandalane Mills (RMP CO036-003).
