Development comprising amendments to permitted Licenced Discount Foodstore and associated services and works (2,680.5 sq m Gross Floor Area and 1,424 sq m Net Retail Sales Area as permitted under An Bord Pleanála Reg. Ref. No.: PL 04.248147, Cork County Council Planning Reg. Ref. No.: 16/6427) at a site of approximately 1.09 hectares. The proposed amendments consist of: A revised site layout comprising the repositioning of the permitted Licenced Discount Foodstore and the permitted trolley bay on the subject site, revised parking provision reducing from 122 no. surface car parking spaces (as permitted) to 110 no. surface car parking spaces (consisting of 6 no. disabled, 11 no. parent and child, and 93 no. regular), from 12 motorcycle parking spaces (as permitted) to 11 no. motorcycle parking spaces, and from 28 no. bicycle parking spaces (as permitted) to 23 no. bicycle parking spaces; A change of building design comprising the omission of the permitted first floor reducing the Gross Floor Area 2,624 sq m (as permitted) to 2,206 sq m and a revised ground floor layout consisting of a revised sales area (with ancillary off-license use and bakery) reducing the Net Sales Area from 1,424 sq m (as permitted) to 1,420 sq m, entrance pod, public facilities (incl. lobby and toilets), staff facilities (incl. lobbies, operations office, meeting room, canteen, showers and toilets), storage (incl. cold storage), IT room, plant room and delivery area; A change in the design of the covered trolley bay structure reducing from 56.5 sq m (as permitted) to 41 sq m Gross Floor Area; Revised access arrangements consisting of enhancements to the permitted vehicular and pedestrian entrance and the relocation and enhancement of the dedicated pedestrian entrance (as permitted), both from the Fermoy Road; and Revised boundary treatments, hard and soft landscaping, services (including 1 no. below ground attenuation tank) and all other ancillary and associated site development works above and below ground level.
