Development will consist of remedial works to rectify and prevent further erosion at the point at which Ervia’s Cork-Dublin gas transmission pipeline crosses beneath the River Blackwater. Permission is sought for: (a) the construction of c.14 linear meters of armour stone erosion protection along the south bank of the River Blackwater; (b) construction of c.620m of new site access road and minor surface improvements to c.340m of existing access road; (c) modification to the existing agricultural entrance form the public road to enable access to the site, and (d) all associated ancillary and temporary site works.
