Change of use of building A from a light industrial use to a waste transfer station on a site of c. 2.086ha (c. 5.15 acres). The proposed development comprises drainage works including grit trap, full retention oil interceptor, fire water retention area, and rainwater harvesting tanks, new concrete slab, weighbridge, elevational alterations, external odour control unit with 20m high stack, vehicle parking, vehicle workshop and all site development works. The site is served by the existing access to Ringport Business Park from Loughbeg Road. An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the application.
