Extension to Tesco retail store. The proposed development allows for change of use & extension of the existing retail store area internally and external extensions to the east and south, internal rearrangement of floor space to accommodate alterations, entrance/exit lobby to the north of the building, relocation of the customer entrance, extension to car parking area into lands to the east to allow for additional car parking, modification of existing car park layout, removal of material from site of demolished house (Pl. Reg. No.04/2611) on lands where the extended car park is proposed, increase in gross floor space of store by 1480.9 sq.m ( Net increase 512.74sq.m comparison floorspace and 42.34sq.m convenience floorspace), provision of a mezzanine staff level internally and through alterations to the south of the existing store structure; relocation of plant and equipment, single additional Tesco sign on southern elevation, service yard alterations including relocation of sprinkler tank, sprinkler pumphouse, ESB substation, transformer room, switchroom & generator and ancillary structures, car park lighting, ancillary site development works/excavation and level changes. Proposed development will allow for food, non food and alcohol sales, extension of duration to permission granted under Planning Ref.No. 08/9492
